The SEU women’s soccer team remained No. 4 for the seventh-straight week in the latest installment of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
Southeastern has a maintained a top-five ranking in every NAIA Top-25 Poll this season.
The Fire earned their fourth-straight trip to The Sun Conference Tournament Final with an 8-2 handling of Johnson & Wales in the TSC Semifinals last night in Lakeland.
Fellow Sun Conference member Keiser, whom the Fire will face in the TSC Final on Friday, remained No. 1 in the national ranking for the eighth-straight week.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
The Fire and the Seahawks will battle for the TSC Tournament Championship this Friday at 1:30 p.m. in West Palm Beach.
