The Lakeland Planning and Zoning board approves the application for a Rec Room, a bar and arcade in the Old Firestine Building downtown shared with Lakeland Live
The arcade-bar will be located on the corner of Munn Park + downtown at 202 N. Massachusetts Ave.
The Rec Room will occupy 4,000 sq. ft. of the space.
There will be a full bar with domestic + craft beer and wines.
They will be open to all ages before 9 p.m., and then only over 21 after 9 p.m.
The type of activities you can expect include: Galaga, Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, Walking Dead, Skee-Ball, Air Hockey, PlayStation, and Nintendo
There will be no cover charge, but the games are pay-to-play.
