Lakeland Antique Mall at (3530 US Hwy. 98 N.) has a $50,000 ride vehicle from Snow White’s Scary Adventures. This vehicle’s price tag is stirring up statewide coverage.
The now extinct dark ride, formerly located at Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom, closed its doors after 41 years, on May 31, 2012, after multiple refurbishments (including one in 1994 after guests complained it was too frightening).
This vehicle was originally purchased at a Disney auction by a private collector based out of Los Angeles after it was removed from the ride queue at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in the early ’90s during a round of refurbishments. The reason being that the new ride cars were being updated with three rows of seats, and the current vehicles only contained two.
For the ultimate Disney superfan, this vehicle, named after Snow White’s dwarf, “Dopey,” is still on the market, if you can dish out $50,000.
