The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Legislative Wrap-Up, presented by Lakeland Electric and Spectrum, will take place on Thursday, May 27th at the First Presbyterian Church. This annual event offers investors and guests the opportunity to hear first-hand from our Polk legislative delegation how the most recent legislative session impacts our business community. This popular event averages more than 200 attendees including many local businesses and civic leaders.
We are proud to announce this year our guest speakers will be Sen. Danny Burgess, Rep. Melony Bell, Rep. Fred Hawkins, Rep. Colleen Burton, and Rep. Joise Tomkow. This year attendees will have the opportunity to “tweet” their questions for the elected officials to answer at @LakelandChamber.
The doors to First Presbyterian Church open at 7:30 a.m. with Cracker Barrel breakfast available, the program begins at 8:00 a.m., and the event ends at 9:30 a.m.
