| Pursuant to Section 403.077, F.S., the Department of Environmental Protection has received the following Public Notice of Pollution for a reportable release. All information displayed was submitted by the reporting party. Type of Notice: Initial Report Date of Notice: 06/18/2021 Incident Information Name of Incident: 80 Imperial Lakes Blvd, Lakeland State Watch Office Case Number: 20213174 Start of Incident: 06/18/2021 15:00 End of Incident: 06/18/2021 18:00 Incident Description Approximately 4000 gallons of raw wastewater discharged from a broken Air Release Valve (ARV) into a near-by pond. Further investigation confirmed that the ARV was hit by a vehicle. The ARV was shut off to prevent further discharge until repairs were completed. Approximately 500 gallons were recovered. The recovered liquid was properly disposed of in accordance with all regulatory requirements. The affected area was treated with lime for disinfection and signs were placed in the area. Samples will be collected as a precaution. Clean up actions were completed at approximately 6:00 pm on June 18, 2021.
