The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Wastewater Collection Division will need to close a portion of Texas Avenue, just south of Pear Street, in order to construct a new sewer service for a residential customer.
Access to the properties adjacent to the work area will be preserved, but no through traffic will be possible during this construction. This work will begin on Monday morning, July 12. Work is anticipated to be complete within a week.
