Today, I stopped in for a quick lunch at Strawberry Hut on Memorial Blvd in Lakeland. I chose the Original Cuban 8”. Granted, I understand the many variations of Cubans, and I enjoyed their sandwich, but to me, it was a glorified ham sub.
Note: it’s not a ding against what they provided because it was an excellent choice. Especially for the price (under $7). I was just expecting that unique Cuban flavor that I have had in the past. No dissatisfaction here it just deviated from my personal preference. Nice work, Strawberry Hut!
