After the day of total unrest at Kathleen High School, Principal Daraford Jones sat down with students in a peaceful meeting to listen to their concerns and frustrations, about his new rules.
Meanwhile, the teacher who rallied with the students has been fired and arrested.
According to PCSO, Tomaris Hill, an assistant football coach and history teacher for the school was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on charges that he “Rioting interfering with Education process and Delinquency of a minor according to the arrest affidavit.
Superintendent Heid said that Hill has been fired from his position.
According to an affidavit, over 200 students were gathered for the protest.
