Saving Paws Rescue of Florida, Inc is looking for a few good volunteers to help out at the shelter. Our rescue has several kittens and cats in need of a little extra love and attention to prepare them for adoption. If you enjoy playing, petting, cuddling, and loving on felines, then we have just the job for you. We frequently rescue feral kittens from colonies saving them from the dangers of the streets or woods. Most of the kittens aren’t used to human touch and don’t know how to play. To get the little ones ready for their new homes, we need a couple of volunteers to assist with socialization.
Caring for this large group of felines takes a lot of work. So, we’re also looking for volunteers to help us with some of the daily tasks such cleaning, scooping litter boxes, feeding, washing bowls etc. Volunteers should be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, and possess the desire to help homeless kitties. There’s no minimum hours requirement and community service hours are available for high school students.
