During our debate last Friday night, Mayor Mutz said he only implemented a mask mandate after consulting with local medical officials and because Lakeland Regional was full.
He further emphasized the emergency mask requirement, saying there were refrigeration trucks parked outside the hospital, presumably for dead bodies.
According to the attached statistics the hospital inpatient, both ICU, and non ICU beds were mid 60% at the height of the cases in July 2020.
The resolution was passed on July 2, 2020. By that time, there was information revealing the inaccuracies of the PCR tests with as much as 90% false positives, therapeutic treatments, and congressionally funded incentives to hospitalize people.
The masking requirement was renewed 2 additional times despite no medical evidence they worked nor peak hospitalizations.
It was not until October, when Gov. DeSantis’ executive order denied fining people that the mayor finally relented “Without the ability to enforce a mandate, there is no reason to mandate,” Lakeland Mayor Bill Mutz told the Lakeland Ledger.
I swear, if anyone votes for him is CrAzY! He is a DeBlasio-Fauci Mayor!!!!
