Smoke coming from 2nd floor
Commercial fire, full 12 unit call out. 8:06 pm. on scene, light smoke showing. Primary search. All occupants out, some animals inside. East side of bldg, smoke showing 2nd floor. Still have power to structure. Bat 6 assuming command from outside.
8:12 pm. Ready for water. Asking civilians to stand clear of the hoses as they charge. Massive amounts of water from sprinkler system. Propping door on apartment unit for ventilation. 8:14 pm Setting up rehab (means rescue/aid to firefighters). Banging on all doors for total evacuation of building. 8:20 pm secured the unit all occupants out. Trying to silence the alarm. Power drop requested for apt 207 (means cut electricity). Air truck requested (means extra oxygen tanks for firefighters).
location is off schoolhouse rd. Lkld Elec enroute. PCFR working on stopping sprinkler system. 8:38 pm Adjacent apartment is clear, no excess water. 8:45 pm reentered 207 looking for small puppy. 8:58 pm. Lkld Elec on scene shutting elec off to about 6 units. Manager on scene to assist with relocation of residents.
