When debating about the negative impact of building 244 high-density apartment units with approximately 500 cars on two lots adjacent to Lake Miriam Square on the clogged road Lk Miriam Drive, you can’t mention TRAFFIC, per a Florida statute.
The Florida legislature, in their wise lawmaking, deemed that saying that traffic was the reason not to build another anything-big-and-unreasonable on that same road was unfair to the developers. After all, they didn’t break the already failing road, so they couldn’t be held responsible for the impact of the additional new monstrosity.
Let that sink in. So, developers/investment companies can’t be denied their request to build more-bigger-extra on overburdened thoroughfare because of the ELEPHANT ON THE ROAD- that we can’t mention.

With this kind of lawmaking, the Florida Legislature could mandate:
