The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, fall to the Cleveland Charge at the Wolstein Center. Jamorko Pickett and Sam Merrill combined for 46 points resulting in a 130-105 point win over the Magic on Friday night.
Picket led seven Charge scorers in double figures with a game-high 24 points and Merrill would add 22 points for Cleveland.
The Charge would trail by as much as 18 points after the Magic went on a 15-3 run in the first half. The Charge took their first lead of the game at 70-68 with 7:40 left in the third. After commanding the lead Cleveland would dominate Lakeland outscoring them 26-7 in the third quarter.
The Magic would never be able to recover after an extremely impressive first half.
Jay Scrubb would put up a team-high 22 points and Zavier Simpson would add 21 points and seven assists for the Magic.
The Lakeland Magic (10-10) will face the Cleveland Charge, on Saturday, February 25 in Cleveland at 7:00 PM on NBAGleague.com.
