Meet Catalina -

Catalina is well-known and a favorite at the shelter. She sits on her “throne” most of the day and night in the front window observing the going ons around the rescue. She is approximately five years old and has a little bit of a salty disposition.

Catalina enjoys being petted so much she doesn’t want people to stop. Sometimes she will smack us and volunteers when we stop petting her or when she does want to be petted. We decided to attach an erasable sign to her throne where we can update the number of days Catalina has gone without swatting or smacking someone. She was up to 6 days but now is back down to 2. We are looking for a home for Queen Catalina who would enjoy a beautiful, black cat and appreciate her sauciness. More than likely, her crave for attention would decrease once in a home where she can be the Star of the Show.
