I know I’m not the only one completely stoked for the new Barbie movie in theaters today. Like most women my age, I was truly a Barbie girl wanting to live in Barbie’s glamorous and carefree world. We Barbie girls are all grown up now and today we eat & drink in hot Barbie pink! This concoction of coconut rum is sure to tickle your taste buds. So, c’mon Barbie, let’s go party!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz coconut rum
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- Splash of grenadine
- Pink sanding sugar for rimming
- Pineapple wedge and cherry for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Rim the edge of a chilled cocktail glass with pink sanding sugar. To do this, dip the rim of the glass in a shallow dish of honey, then dip it in a separate shallow dish of pink sanding sugar, turning the glass to coat the rim evenly.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the coconut rum, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, and grenadine. Shake well for 30 seconds to combine or until well chilled.
-Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass filled with ice.
-Garnish the cocktail with a pineapple wedge and cherry.
