Meet Samus (Sammi), a beautiful senior kitty we now have available for adoption. She is approximately 12 years old and in need of just the right home. Sammi was found after wandering up to a woman’s home pregnant and delivered two kittens. Sadly, cats do not go through menopause and can continue to get become pregnant their entire lives. The woman gave away the two kittens when they were two months old. One of our fosters saw Sammi posted on the Next Door app and reached out to the woman to pick her up. She has since been spayed so she can no longer have any more kittens. Yay!
It took a little while for Sammi to warm to her foster home and mom but she now likes to cuddly and snuggle with her.
Since Sammi likes to be in a quiet environment, she needs to be adopted into a home that is pet and child-free home. The ideal situation would be one where she can be the Queen to receive all the undivided attention of her owner.
