Spring training is right around the corner. Tigers pitchers and catchers report for camp this week with their first scheduled workout set for Wednesday in Lakeland. The first full-squad workout is next Monday.
The Tigers begin spring play on February 24th hosting the New York Yankees.
This year will be the Detroit Tigers’ 88th season for Spring Training at TigerTown, extending the longest-standing relationship between a Major League team and a current Spring Training host city. The 2024 spring season will be the club’s 59th consecutive season of playing at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. This year’s Spring Training schedule features 16 contests at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.
