The Polk County sheriff is asking the public to assist in locating Billy Ray Lemay.
Here are the details from the Polk County Sheriff:
Good morning social media sleuths – we need your help looking for Billy Ray Lemay, who has Polk County warrants for his arrest for violating his probation on previous charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle, dealing in stolen property, and burglary.
He fled from deputies last night on a motorcycle without a tag, in the area of Susan Drive in Alturas. He abandoned the bike and got into a car – so now he has new charges as well.
Billy has brown eyes, brown hair, a scar on his forehead, and the following tattoos:
Left arm – NY
Right arm – Chinese character
Left leg – Heather
Chest – Billy, Clyde, Sue
Back – hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs “playing for keeps” and “Lemay”
Abdomen – Heather
He just got out of the Polk County Jail in July 2023 on 21 separate charges. He’s been to state prison 4 times.
