The little thrift store on 37 and 60 Mulberry just burned down.
On Tuesday, May 28 at 3:19 p.m., Polk County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire located on N Church Avenue in Mulberry.
#PCFR units arrived on scene at 3:23 p.m., within three minutes of being dispatched. Upon PCFRs arrival, the structure was fully engulfed in flames and crews began an interior attack on the fire. When conditions worsened, crews transitioned an offensive exterior attack to successfully extinguish the fire.
Seventeen PCFR units, two Lakeland Fire Department crews and members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no injuries reported or patients transported.
