Jessica’s Review:
King Joon must die. In this plot to kill the king, a band of misfits from different regions of the country are gathered. They each have secrets that could damn their whole scheme. Will they be able to kill the God King? Or will their secrets ruin everything?
This book had me hooked! I read it so quickly. It was multi-POV, so each chapter had a different perspective character. I liked every character. They all had captivating back stories. My favorites were Royo and Aeri. I didn’t see the end coming either! I had suspicions about some things, but I was not prepared for what ended up happening. I recommend this book to those who like books with twists and a heist-like plot. I look forward to the next book!
