The Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with A-C-T Environmental and Infrastructure, is excited to announce an upcoming event designed to provide a platform for political candidates to share their vision and plans for the betterment of our community.
The Polk Politics Candidates Rally is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Bartow Civic Center (2250 S. Floral Ave.), from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event presents a unique opportunity for candidates to connect directly with constituents and gain support for their campaigns.
During the rally, each participating candidate will have three minutes on stage to present their platform to the audience. It is important to note that only candidates attending in person will be permitted to speak on stage. Candidate representatives may occupy a table at the event, but speaking privileges on stage are reserved exclusively for the candidates.
With over 25 local candidates confirmed to attend, this event is set to be a pivotal moment for voter engagement in our area.
Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a straw vote throughout the evening, with results being announced at 7:30 p.m. This provides a valuable opportunity for candidates to gauge public opinion and amplify their campaign messages.
