The Aerospace Center for Excellence is excited to announce our brand-new Preschool Enrichment program called STEM Sprouts! This parent participation class is designed for children aged 3-5. Each week students and parents will explore a letter of the alphabet and coordinating aviation concept using engaging, hands-on, skill-based learning centered around play.
Classes will be held on Monday mornings from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Each week will be limited to 15 students using an online registration system. There will be a class fee of $10 per student, with a 50% discount given to Florida Air Museum members. Admission to the Florida Air Museum and Destination: Aviation Playground are included in the class fee. Full year pricing is available as well.
The STEM Sprouts calendar runs from September through May. Each week will highlight a letter of the alphabet and an aviation word/STEM concept of the day.
Note: Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If there is enough demand, a second class may be added from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and seats will be offered to students on the waiting list before being made available to the public.
