Incident Description
At 6:00 AM on August 5, 2024, a level sensor failed along with heavy rains associated with Hurricane Debby caused a City pump station to overflow. A City crew responded and turned the pumps on which stopped the overflow at 7:30 AM. Approximately 250 gallons spilled with no recovery and flowed directly into Lake Bonny. The City?s Lake and Stormwater Division was notified, and samples will be collected.
