All lanes on Harden Boulevard from Ariana to Edgewood and Beacon Road closed for a ‘suspicious incident’

Lakeland police shut down one of the city’s major intersections Friday afternoon because of a “suspicious incident,” according to an LPD spokesperson.

More than a mile of Harden Boulevard has been shut down from Ariana Street south to Edgewood Drive, all lanes in both directions.

All lanes of West Beacon Road have been shut down from Harden Boulevard east to South Lincoln Avenue. Drivers are highly recommended to use alternative routes and avoid the area if possible.
