Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards announced today that this Sunday is “Souls to the Polls” day in Polk County.
“When the law changed to allow Early Voting on Sundays, many churches across the state began to encourage members to vote on their way home from services. The phrase ‘Souls to the Polls’ soon caught on,” said Ms. Edwards.
In Polk County, Early Voting will be open from 7 am until 7 pm this Sunday, November 3rd, at ten locations across the county. For a complete list of locations or for more information, visit PolkElections.gov or call the Elections Office at (863) 534-5888.
