Katie Clements, a mother of two and U.S. Navy veteran, couldn’t find a safe, engaging space for her young children. So, she created one.
“I wanted a place where they could see the entire building,” Clements said. “There’s actually a camera where you can see into the playroom.”
Her vision? A tactile, sensory-rich environment where kids aged 0–5 can explore, learn, and play safely.
Kid Cafe offers padded play areas, ball pits, climbing features, and sensory walls — perfect for developing fine motor skills and curiosity.
“We have water tiles and sensory boards covering the walls,” Clements said. “We have them in the cafe area and the playroom.”
The space is also popular among children diagnosed with autism or other sensory needs.
While the kids play, parents can enjoy free Wi-Fi, comfy seating, and yes — plenty of hot coffee.
