Had an absolute blast this morning at Simpson Park for the 2026 Polar Plunge!
Huge thank you to our incredible Parks & Recreation staff, the lifeguards, and everyone who helped make this FREE community event such a success. You all do an outstanding job creating fun, safe opportunities for Lakeland families to come together.
Yes… The water was COLD. 
I’m told it’s been colder before… but let me tell you, it was definitely cold enough for me!
There’s something special about seeing our community show up, laugh together, and jump in headfirst. Moments like this are what make our city strong.
Proud to serve a city that knows how to chill out and dive in.
