Today, our community came together to honor the life and service of Army Reserve Major Cody Khork as his procession passed Florida Southern College along Lake Hollingsworth Drive.
A proud Polk County resident and Florida Southern College graduate, Major Khork served his country with dedication and courage. He was killed in action during Operation Epic Fury.
As his family, friends, and fellow service members paid their respects, Lakeland stood in quiet gratitude for his sacrifice.
We extend our deepest condolences to all who loved him. His service will not be forgotten.
