A portion of the pedestrian walkway on Lake Hollingsworth near Crystal Lake Drive is closed.
LPD on the scene has confirmed a deceased person was found at the lake.
According to LPD spokeswoman Robin Tillett, a jogger located the body near a bench before 7 a.m. She said the body is that of an adult male in his early 20s, with no obvious indications of foul play. Initially, it appears the individual died by suicide.
