Rainfall across the state of Florida will be all over the place over the next 7 days & parts of this will be related to the system in the Gulf.
The same front that is bringing clouds & periods of rain to the I-10 corridor this weekend will be in place this week as the system in the Gulf develops. Regardless of the system’s intensity (it’s likely to stay weak), the combination of a front and a tropical low-pressure system equals very heavy rain at times over the next 7 days. This is not constant rain. Nor will every location get rain each day, but over the next seven days, many towns may get rain on 5-6 of those days. Forecast confidence is higher along the I-10 corridor.
Farther south, in central Florida, the rainfall over the next 7 days will be more sct’d. It will definitely NOT rain every day & the rainfall amounts by the end of the week will be heavily dependent on what happens in the Gulf & where this system goes.
Down across South Florida, you’re far away from the front & the Gulf storm, so rainfall amounts there are most likely to stay relatively low.
