Brightline Suspends Orlando to West Palm Beach Service Due to Flooding

By Staff

Brightline temporarily suspended passenger train service between Orlando and West Palm Beach due to high water levels and severe weather impacting the rail corridor in Brevard County.

Current Status & Details

  • Affected Route: Train operations between the Orlando International Airport station and West Palm Beach are paused until track safety can be verified.
  • South Florida Service Active: Trains are still running normally on the South Florida segment between West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami.
  • Next Steps for Service: Crews are monitoring the high-water zones. Before long-distance service resumes, inspections of the tracks, signaling systems, and rail crossings must be completed once water recedes.
