After Day One of the Copperhead Championship, the Florida Southern College men’s golf team is in a tie for 13th place. The event, held at the Innisbrook Resort’s par-71 Copperhead Course, is being hosted by Saint Leo University.
After Round One, the Mocs were in 15th place with 299 total strokes, then combined for 291 in Round Two, finishing 23-over par.
Leading the way for the Mocs are freshman Chris Fosdick and sophomore Johnny Tucker, who each finished at one-over, 143. Fosdick shot 72-71 today, while Tucker shot a 74 in the opening round, then rebounded with a 69 in the second.
Round Three commences on Tuesday, October 15, at 8:30 a.m.
