At the 2022 Florida High School Competitive Cheerleading State Championships in Gainesville Lakeland HS won its fourth consecutive state title in the Class 2A large non-tumbling division with a score of 88.80.
“We are super excited,” eleventh-year Lakeland cheer coach Crystal Abdon said. “We had a very large group of seniors this year, combined with a large group of kids that have not cheered before. Kind of the challenge this year was to get everybody at the same level.
